Come and relax at KARU BEACH HOUSE (KARU RANNAMAJA). Come and enjoy a genuine Estonian wood-fired sauna! Karu Beach House is located on the Tallinn-Ikla highway, in Tahkuranna, on Mõisa road. It is 19 km from Pärnu (15-20 minutes by car) and 160 km from Riga. The Romantic Beach Road winds in front of Karu Beach House. We offer accommodation in a small two-story house made of handmade logs, completed in the summer of 2024. The house is located under tall pine trees and is located about 800 m from the Tahkuranna bathing beach, about 10 minutes on foot. The house can accommodate 6 people. On the ground floor there is a 2-person sofa bed with a comfortable Bonelli spring mattress and on the upper floor there are 3 separate beds (3 single beds can be arranged into 2 single beds and 1 double bed = 4 sleeping places). The house has a small kitchen, bathroom with toilet, wood-burning sauna, TV, Wifi, terrace with furniture and hot tub. From the terrace you can watch the daily hustle and bustle of an anthill amidst blueberries and lingonberries. The second floor has a separate entrance from the yard (the bathroom with toilet is on the first floor). Hot tub rental for an additional fee!
There are unique sandy beaches and lakes near Karu Beach House. We are located along the Romantic Beach Road. Jõulumäe Sports and Recreation Center 7 min drive away. Theme park "Lottemaa" - 14 min drive. Luitemaa Nature Reserve Tolkuse bog hiking trails - 6 min drive. Beautiful pine forests, with lingonberries, blueberries and hiking trails - 2 min drive. Breakfast can be enjoyed at Pärnamäed Bakery - 10 min drive. Homemade lunch at Uulu Café - 7 min drive
