A cozy and colourful getaway in a white Spanish village in the heart of Andalusia. Surrounded by mountains speckled with olive trees for as far as the eye can see. Decorated with original artwork, AstArte is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of cities, and perfect as a base for exploring the region or remote-working. The guesthouse features 3 rooms and an ever-green terrace with a view to the surrounding mountains. Common areas shared with the host and other guests include the living room, terrace, and a quiet working space.
Originally from Lithuania and educated in the UK, I moved to Andalusia to fulfil my life-long dream of running a guesthouse and taking care of plants and flowers which I absolutely adore. In my previous life I was a marketing specialist.
Castillo de Locubin is a pretty and quiet white village situated on a hilltop overlooking olive tree plantations. An hour's drive from Granada, and 1.5 hrs to the nearest beach the village is perfect for exploring rural Andalusia. The village is famous for its annual cherry festival, and loved by cyclists who come here to train. It's perfect for those who want to get off the beaten track and explore the real rural Andalusia. The village has all the necessary amenities and is connected by public bus to Granada and provincial centre Jaen.
