3 bedroom apartment offering views of the Guadiana River and Portugal and underground car parking is a bonus with this apartment. There are a number of Golf Courses within 30 minutes in both Spain and over the border in Portugal. It is very difficult to find property in the Old Town of Ayamonte making this apartment a rare find. The walk to the centre of town passes through lovely small streets and within around 10 minutes you can be at the main Laguna square.
Situated in the picturesque old town of Ayamonte by the estuary of the Río Guadiana on the border with Portugal. The centre is a good place to take a leisurely stroll, as many of its narrow streets are pedestrianised. These link small, pretty plazas, which are tucked away but full of busy pavement cafés and bars serving great seafood. Visit the elegant Plaza de la Laguna for a good choice of eating places with outdoor seating. The nearest beach is the new resort of Isla Canela, 10 minutes drive away from the centre of Ayamonte. It boasts a particularly wide stretch of sandy beach, with chiringuitos (summer beach bars), parasols and hammocks for hire and showers. Take the ferry from the centre of Ayamonte across the expansive estuary of the Rio Guadiana to Monte Gordo as a great day trip.
