The house was built in 1805 and has in the past been a destillery, a barber shop and a bakery. When we bought the house in 2013 it was mainly a ruin. Since then we've restaured the house trying to conserve the old structure as much as possible while adapting it to new uses and in an ecofriendly way. The former chicken house on the roof became a nice studio with private sun terrace and with solar heating system. The former workers apartment became a 4 bedroom apartment with direct access to the buildings common terraces. The heating system is connected to the wodden stove in the owners apartment below. On the ground floor we have the former bakery that is still a work in progress and subsequently not possible to rent. When it's ready it will be a small apartment with bodega.
Village: municipal big swimming pool for adults and children, 2 restaurant/bars, 1 small grocery, 1playground, friendly atmosphere and a lot of common activities organised by the municipality Near to: lake with beach Pantà de Riudecanyes, Mediterranean beach Cambrils, historic monument Escornalbou Castle, wine district Priorat Public transport: direct train from Barcelona to Duesaigües and further to Mòra d'Ebre passing Falset, capital in the wine district. Bus to Reus. To really enjoy the surroundings we propose to go by car or bike.
