Casa de las Artes, member of The Meliá Collection, located in Madrid in the historic Barrio de las Letras, has recently been renovated to pay homage to the seven fine arts. This charming hotel has a cinema called Miró Cinema, a library for literature lovers, and a barre bar in the gym. Our thermal pool with sauna is a true oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling city of Madrid. An idyllic place to take a break and relax your mind and body, surrounded by creativity. Each room has a private bathroom, some with a terrace and others with city views. Located about 10 minutes' walk from Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de Santa Ana, the hotel is right next to the Antón Martín metro station and 7 minutes from Retiro Park and the Prado Museum. The Reina Sofía Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum are also nearby. Just 16 km from Madrid Airport, the Casa de las Artes offers easy access to all the wonders the city has to offer. The hotel restaurant serves a delicious buffet and à la carte breakfast. The “Mache” restaurant (from the French “papier mâché” meaning “chewed”) offers a fusion of international and local cuisine inspired by the artistic world. Diners can enjoy an innovative culinary experience and a modern, original setting, including signature cocktails.
