Casa Torreón de Villafamés is a sturdy house with thick walls made of rodeno stone, built in 1900. It has been renovated while maintaining its original four walls. It consists of a large kitchen and dining room with an American-style breakfast bar and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a single bedroom with a window overlooking the courtyard and a wonderful living room with a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the street. On the second floor, there is a single bedroom with a window overlooking the courtyard, a small bathroom, and a double bedroom with a window overlooking the exterior, where you can see the thick walls that support it. If we continue up to the top floor, we find a room where dreams extend to the rest of the house, with views of a very sunny terrace. And finally, on the same floor, we find the terrace, where you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner with beautiful views of the wild mountains. Considering that the Torreón de Villafamés house is only 19 km from Castellón Airport and 30 minutes from the beaches of Benicasim and Oropesa, it is an excellent vacation choice for any time of year.
We are Basilio and Alba, father and daughter, and we are very excited about this project, into which we have poured a lot of love so that guests can feel the magic of this village. Our village is so charming that we left the city behind and came to live here, far from the fast pace of city life, allowing us to enjoy the little things. We hope you feel at home and enjoy your stay!
The street where the Villafamés tower house is located is very quiet, with hardly any traffic passing by. All you can hear is birds singing. If you prefer to visit the Villafamés contemporary art museum, it is just 200 meters away, and the Church of the Assumption is 500 meters away. The surrounding area invites you to take a walk and discover why Villafamés is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
