EL PISUCO El Pisuco is located in a quiet area of the town of Dolores (Alicante), located in the Vega Baja and surrounded by cultural and natural wealth. Here, you can enjoy its restaurants and leisure area, with bars, shops, supermarkets, food shops where you can take your food home, if you don't feel like cooking. Sunday is definitely roast chicken day. You can visit the church, an important part landmark situated in the center of the town, you will be able to appreciate the altarpiece where the Virgen de los Dolores presides. If you want to know a little more about its tradition, visit the Museo de la Huerta. Also in the summer season, you can enjoy the Municipal Pool located in the sports area, with paddle and tennis courts that can be reserved for lovers of these sports. From El Pisuco you can get closer through the motorway, to know Alicante and walk through its Explanada and the Paseo Marítimo, as well as go up to know the Castle of Santa Bárbara. You can also go along the national highway, a little longer, but along the way, you can enjoy the views offered by the Salinas de Santa Pola and its fauna (especially in summer when flamingos visit it).
