This charming rural house with breathtaking views is located overlooking the mountain La Maroma. From the village you reach the house after a 7 km drive along the natural park. Once off the main road you go along the typical mountain roads to the house (3km). Except for the last 300m (exit to the house on unpaved road with some potholes and bumps) this road is completely concreted. It might therefore be advisable to rent a not 'too low to the ground' model car. (I advise renters to follow my directions to the house on a first visit) In front of the house there is ample parking for 2, 3 cars. Around the house there are several terraces so you can enjoy both sun and shade. This property, the house, the garden and the views are full of charm and absolutely worth a look for those who are looking for a house in full nature and only 30 minutes drive from the beach (Torre del Mar). Tip: You can do your shopping before your arrival at the department store 'Eroski' which you can find at exit 272 of the highway in the Shopping Mall 'El Ingenio' (Velez-Malaga). Canillas de Aceituno is a typical Andalusian village with its white houses. Hikers and nature lovers will certainly get their money's worth here. The mountain 'La maroma' (https://www.visitcostadelsol.com/malaga-costa-del-sol/green-nature/la-maroma-p30151) is the highest point of the province of Malaga and since this year there is also the suspension bridge 'El Saltillo' (https://tekdeeps.com/canillas-de-aceituno-inaugurates-el-saltillo-one-of-the-largest-suspension-bridges-in-spain-with-50-meters-long -and-not-suitable-for-vertiginous/) which is one of the largest in Spain. In the village there are 3.4 restaurants (recommended) and there are also a few bars where you can eat/drink a drink and snack for a small price.
