Perched atop a Basque mountain, this unique home offers breathtaking views and total seclusion, and a backstage introduction to the traditions of the shepherds of the Pyrenees. It’s ideal for family getaways, retreats, or team gatherings. 4 km from Ituren and just one hour from San Sebastián, Pamplona, and Biarritz. This hamlet is the setting of many articles and documentaries of the Basque culture and now the scene of the book "In The Footsteps of Smugglers" by Georgina Howard. There are hiking trails available from the doorstep. Additionally, there is a wonderful riverpath that links all the villages in the valley, and offers some pretty places to swim along the river. The rustic house offers all the modern comforts with its own original style.
The views from every terrace and every window are unbeatable in every way. (Look at the pictures!!). It’s ideal for family getaways, retreats, or team gatherings. 4 km from Ituren and just one hour from San Sebastián, Pamplona, and Biarritz. The farm lies 300 metres up from the valley floor and about 4km from the village of Ituren, in the area of the Baztan and Bidasoa valleys. Important: a surfaced mountain road leads directly to the property.
