We discovered Almuñecar in 2009 and fell in love with it! If you wish to discover "real Spain" then this is the place to come to. We love to take part in "Almuñecar Life", from the amazing tapas bars and restaurants to the fiesta's and festivals. From the 'Semana Santa' processions at Easter, the 'San Miguel' fiesta in the Old Town in September and biggest one of all, 'La Fiesta de la Virgen de la Antigua' on 15th August, which boasts one of the biggest firework displays in Europe.

La Casita is a magical hideaway for couples which can be found nestled in one of the most beautiful squares in Almuñécar Old Town. Amzingly restored with an emphasis on retaining much of the originality of one of the oldest properties in the town. With a luxurious bathroom, quaint bedroom, quirky livining room and fully equipped kitchen, large terrace together with super-fast fibre broadband, this is one of the most romantic places to spend a holiday or have remote-working retreat.
