We chose our Villa due to its location on Mar Menor Golf Resort , being close to the hub of the golf and hotel/restaurant facilities & a quiet sort after location. We instantly fell in love with the Villa with its amazing golf views which are one of the best! Unlike some other villas on site we chose to keep some grassed areas in the garden rather than tiling everywhere. The safety feature of the grass is nonslip & good for garden games. We have just finished a project improving the garden area with a non-slip marble surround for the pool, plus a new circular patio, alfresco furniture & sunbeds. Inside we have modernised, with new sofas & soft furnishings and a super modern rain shower to the main bathroom. The bedrooms have new remote control fans & AC. The Aircon has a safety feature fitted to prevent it being left on unnecessarily. Bedroom windows have fly/mosquito screens. One of the great things about the resort is the mosquito fumigation which happens at night during the breeding season. This completely wipes the mosquitos out which is wonderful! Our host is English but speaks Spanish too. The host company are a family run business and are very experienced at looking after Villas and guests. We have found their knowledge for all things around the Villa is exceptional and there’s not much they cannot sort of if required. They live near by so are always willing to pop by if you need any assistance. They provide guests with a mobile number to text as well which is handy for guests. When you arrive Melanie will greet you at the Villa or if preferred or out of hours she will leave the key in the external key box.

Mar Menor Golf resort is a beautiful resort which is extremely well manicured. The security is particularly impressive with gates at both entrances and security guards. The security company are very good at what they do and are always checking the resort and policing by vehicle. It’s one of the reasons we decided to purchase on this resort! The whole resort is kept precipitously immaculate by the gardeners. Having the golf course at the back of our villa is a real luxury and gives the impression of a lot of space. We are lucky we have various restaurants on our door step; at the hotel which is a 5minute walk, and around the resort. Including; Thai, Indian, Pizza, Steak House, Sushi, Bistro-Pub, Fish and Chips, Tapas, Mediterranean, English and Spanish.
