We would like to welcome you to our beachfront apartment in Marina la Duquesa in Costa del Sol (Spain). Our holiday rental apartment is right next to Duquesa Port and Marina in the middle of Costa del Sol. Enjoy Spain's finest beaches, the sea life and lots of activities. Beach holidays at its best! The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard, all furniture is new and modern and it has been tastefully decorated. It comfortably accommodates four people. The apartment´s location permits our guests to enjoy Duquesa´s bars and restaurants while away of noisy night life. Duquesa beach is right in front of the resort! There is a large terraced area that is perfect to enjoy meals outside or a few drinks as the sun goes down. The apartment has one large bed in the en suite master bedroom and two twin beds in the second en suite bedroom . The apartment enjoys all the mod cons and has every item you would expect in your own home including flat screen TV, dish washer, a utility room with washing machine, oven, microwave.
A short walk to the west of Puerto de la Duquesa is the little fishing hamlet of Castillo de la Duquesa from which marina gets its name. The castle built in 1767 can be visited and is often used for local exhibitions. Nearby are largely unexcavated roman ruins. A short walk to the east is the fishing village of Sabinillas. A seafront promenade makes a pleasant walk. Rising virtually from the beaches, in the mountains the famed white villages of Manilva, Casares, and Gaucin are all withing an hours drive. Just 25 km away is Gibraltar and is worth a visit. My favorit visit is the city of Ronda. It is famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and views, and for the deep El Tajo gorge that carries the rio Guadalevín through its centre. Cosmopolitan life can be found only twenty minutes away in the "jet-set" city of Marbella with its shopping experiences ranging from the El Corte Inglés and to the sprawling La Cañada centre to the infinite variety of small shops and boutiques lining the cobble-stoned streets of Old Marbella.
The Andalucia region Good all year round temp, lovely port and some nice restaurants. Near the castle. The beach, bars and restaurants and Puerto Duquesa marina are all within a 2 min walk from the resort. Sabilinas is a lively beach side town with an expansive promenade that is lined with bars and nice restaurants, this is not a main tourist area so retains its Spanish feel and charm. Manilva village is a 14th century white village with some stunning scenery, key attractions are the Roman baths, churches and vineyards.
