Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the heart of the Almanzora Valley, this accommodation gives you the beauty and quiet of the countryside with fabulous views all around, yet still just a short walk to restaurants, shops, cafes, banks etc, including a busy Sunday market. For a taste of a true Spanish lifestyle, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps, Swallows Nest is the place to unwind and relax. The apartment is all on one level, with the exception of one very small step into the main bedroom.. There are 2 steps on the patio towards the exit from the property.. These have a ramp adjacent to them. There is secure parking available for most vehicle sizes, including bicycles, motorbikes, cars, vans, caravans, and motorhomes.
Fines (pronounced Fee-nez) is a small Spanish village with a thriving community spirit and has a popular extensive Sunday market every week, all year round. Set in the heart of the Marble region of Andalucia, the pedestrianised route, along the beautifully converted old railway line, is dotted along the way with some fabulous international works of art, all in marble. There is also a large marble fountain by the Town Hall and square, which is so beautiful with its changing lights at night. Surrounded by the hills of the Almanzora valley, its pretty setting is peaceful and tranquil. The people of Fines are very friendly and as are the people of the neighbouring towns of Olula Del Rio and Albox, where there is always something to do. Fines has some excellent restaurants, plus the bars and cafes here are varied to suit all ages. We have a Coviran Supermarket, 2 banks, and a host of other shops, from fashion to craft, plus a little 24hour shop for those essential bits and pieces like bread, milk, snacks,etc. The motorway that runs by Fines gives you quick and easy access to the beaches of Mojacar and Vera in one direction or to the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada in the other. The hills provide many trails for walkers, hikers, and cyclists of every level, plus some amazing routes for motorbike enthusiasts, including some off-road routes to enjoy.
