This is a luxurious penthouse apartment with direct lift access into the living room. It has been furnished in a contemporary style with high quality fitments and furnishings. There are two terraces one of which is exceptionally large with panoramic views of the countryside and Alora´s Moorish Castle which is perched on top of a hill and looks particularly spectacular and romantic at night when illuminated. The top floor of the penthouse is not shared with any other flat. The lift goes straight to the living room and with the help of a key opens right into the apartment, very impressive indeed. The plot of the building is at an elevated position and so it has a commanding view of the countryside, mountains and the Moorish Castle. We will forever have these views.

We are a couple from London and decided to escape the rat race and started a idyllic life here in Alora. My husband is an ex-chef in restaurants in London while my line of work is in public relations. We had been living here in Alora since 2000 and we know the ins and outs of this part of Andalusia and which will come handy pointing you to the right direction as to what you expect from your holiday.

Alora is a traditional Andalucian whitewashed village sitting on top of the hills of El Hacho which is 400 metres above sea level. As well as being able to soak in the atmosphere of a authentic Spanish working village, with its narrow, winding, cobbled streets and local shops, you will find a wide variety of restaurants and tapas bars. Alora is very popular with golfers, walkers, climbers and watersports enthusiasts as it is only 12 km from the beautiful lakes of El Chorro where you can also find the famous El Caminino Del Rey. It has excellent communication links with Malaga, Antequerra, Ronda, the airport and the Costa del Sol.
