Giraffe manor is a stylish and relaxed choice to stay in the center of Helsinki. It has a balcony, a loft bed, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a washing machine. There's also plenty of storage space. The apartment is in a 1930's modernist school building that was converted in 2000 and is decorated in an eccentric and artistic fashion. It's a 15 minute walk from the central train station and major sights of Helsinki, in the peaceful Etu-Töölö area.
I am a filmmaker who loves to travel!
The Etu-Töölö district is just by the center and offers its own variety of restaurants, culture and shopping. The house sits on top of a hill, a bit off from the traffic so it's a very quiet block, but just by walking down the hill you are in the middle of a busy main road. To the locals Etu-Töölö is now known as a "wealthier" area, with a long history of famous artists and athletes living there.
