Our villa, Karkutahko 1A, is located in the beautiful and peaceful Tahkovuori area—one of Finland’s most beloved year-round holiday destinations. Just 1.5 km from the western ski slopes, it offers the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and easy access to activities. In the winter, Tahko transforms into a snowy paradise. The ski slopes are only minutes away, offering fun for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. You’ll also find well-maintained cross-country skiing tracks, snowshoeing trails, and opportunities for snowmobiling or ice fishing—all right at your doorstep. In the summer, the surroundings are ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and golfing at one of Finland’s most scenic golf courses. The nearby Lake Syväri invites you to swim, kayak, or paddleboard, while the peaceful nature around the cottage is perfect for both outdoor adventures and quiet relaxation.
