Villa Lumia - the pearl of Arctic Circle! Located right next to the centre of Pello and the railway station, Villa Lumia is easily accessible by car, train, or even with a bicycle! Sauna and the hut are free to use. Hot tub can be purchased separately. Please note that the house might not be suitable for those allergic to dogs. Distances: Pello town centre 3 minutes Sweden 5 minutes Rovaniemi 1 h Ylläs 1 h 15 min Levi 2 h Pallas 2 h Kilpisjärvi 4 h Narvik 5 h 20 min
From early autumn to late spring, Pello offers fantastic skiing opporturnities for both alpine and cross-country skiers. In the summer time fishers can experience the longest free-running river in Europe, Tornionjoki, which is a notorious salmon river. There is also a lot of possibilities for outdoor activities, such as snowmobiling, husky sledding, and hiking routes. Pello centre has a gym and a couple of pizza restaurants. Electric cars can be charged at service stations in the town centre or at Vihreä Pysäkki shopping centre.
