Hi! Our family (Nina and Pekka, along with our children and two dogs) live in one half of the duplex, and we rent out the other half through our family business. We started this hosting activity in 2025 alongside our regular day jobs. We're happy to help if you have any questions during your stay!

This house has a truly special location: you're well connected to public transport and close to everything (example Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre is about 10 minute walk away), yet surrounded by the peaceful, garden-like charm of green part of Helsinki. The house breathes history, but you’ll enjoy new beds, high-quality appliances, and all the modern comforts. You have a private section of the garden for your use, directly connected to the accommodation. Please note: the house has many stairs, so some agility is needed.

Neighbourhood information

Nearby Area Within walking distance: Pasila, Tripla, the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus), parks, and the charming wooden architecture of Puu-Käpylä. Getting around: Public transportation, electric scooters and city bikes are a convenient way to move around the capital region. For that, it's recommended to download the HSL app to your phone. With a single ticket, you can access trams, buses, the metro, commuter trains, the light rail, and the Suomenlinna ferry. If you purchase an ABC day ticket via the HSL app, you can travel from the airport to the city center and within Helsinki using the same ticket. A single adult ticket can easily and quickly be bought with contactless payment. If you arrive by car, there is free street parking available in front of the house and generally throughout the neighbourhood.
