In het oude Hôtel de la Poste bevindt zich nu Ambiance Morvan. Een kleinschalig bedrijf met 5 ruime gastenkamers, 2 volledig gemeubileerde gîtes en een petit camping. Via een smalle doorgang vanaf de dorpsstraat bereik je de typisch Franse binnenplaats. Rust, ruimte, kleinschalige gezelligheid in een ontspannen sfeer in de natuur. Parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein, voor fietsers en motoren een overdekte stalling.
Sinds 2022 zijn wij het Franse avontuur aangegaan. Brigitte kon haar baan niet meenemen en heeft haar leven als biologiedocente achter zich gelaten. Michel werkt momenteel hybride binnen IT. We wonen samen met onze drie honden en twee kippen.
De Ambiance ligt in het typisch Franse dorp Ouroux-en-Morvan, middenin het groene hart van Frankrijk: de Morvan. Dit is een prachtig nationaal natuurpark met uitgestrekte bossen, riviertjes en watervallen, als ook een rijke geschiedenis. Veel voorzieningen zijn binnen 100 meter in het dorp te bereiken, zoals de bakker, pinautomaten, een kleine supermarkt, apotheek en zelfs een bioscoop is in Ouroux-en-Morvan te vinden!
