Why We Chose This Place? We fell in love with this apartment for its truly unique setting, right in the heart of Château des Forges — surrounded by nature, tranquility, and authenticity. Ideally located between Niort, the Marais Poitevin, the Futuroscope, and the Puy du Fou, it offers privileged access to some of the most remarkable cultural and natural sites in the region. We envisioned it as a haven for slow vacations, a place to take your time, relax by the pool or on nearby walking trails, savor local delicacies (goat cheese, honey, wines, farmers’ markets...), and immerse yourself in the region’s heritage: castles, picturesque villages, and traditional boat rides through the “Green Venice” of the Marais Poitevin. It was love at first sight, and today we’re delighted to share this special place with you.
