Beautiful 2-room apartment in downtown Chauffailles. Unobstructed view of the city and the countryside. Sunny. Living room with sofa bed, equipped dining room, kitchen and shower room/wc. Separate bedroom with wardrobe.
I retired from the electronics and electroacoustics industry for 10 years. I returned to the Charolais Brionnais in our family home and its renovation became my main activity, but all the same raising my eyes to the sky because that is where another passion lies: airplanes. I finally found the time to become a private pilot and everything related to aviation interests me. For the past two years, I have actively participated in the ICAR association which manages the Roanne international air meeting. With my wife, Hélène, we are at the head of a large blended family which sometimes involves us in the discovery of countries: Mexico, England, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Algeria. This apartment is reserved for family and passing guests.
At the crossroads of three departments, the Loire, the Saône et Loire and the Rhône, we can say that here it is the countryside. No night lights to keep you awake. The spot to recharge your batteries and take a country-break, to admire the stars and the ideal starting point for visiting the Charolais-Brionnais region. A little nightlife in Chauffailles thanks to the Strong Street Pub, the cinema and the Espace Culturel du Brionnais. Some very pleasant restaurants and Pizzerias, Kbab, McDo. An outdoor swimming pool in Chauffailles open in summer. Pretty villages to visit around and marked hiking trails. You can consult the Chauffailles Tourist Office website, the Brionnais Sud Bourgogne website and the Loire Tourist Office website.
