We are Sabine and Patrick, the owners of this magnificent house. In 2009, we left our respective careers of fifteen years in industrial organization and twenty years in sales to create our own hotel business. Travelers, history buffs and lovers of good food and wine, we bring you our experience, knowledge and long-standing relationships to make every guest feel at home and enjoy the many sites to visit in Provence and on the Côte d'Azur. Alone, as a couple, with family or friends, we'll do our utmost to meet your requirements for an exceptional stay in Avignon's historic shopping center.

Property information

A House Filled with History - Since 1261 Just a stone's throw from the famous Palais des Papes, our residence opens its doors to you for a journey through time. Built on the remains of the Augustinian monastery, construction of which began in 1261, this building steeped in history existed long before the Popes' Palace was built in 1335. Martin Luther, an Augustinian monk, is said to have stayed here during his time in Avignon. Right at the foot of our property, the Augustins bell tower still bears witness to the presence of the Augustins church, part of which was dismantled after the French Revolution. This authentic site, recently renovated, will appeal to lovers of heritage and ancient architecture. Passionate about travel and Slow Travel, meeting people, history, art, good food and our excellent Côtes du Rhône wines, we bring our experience, our recommendations and all our attention to make you feel unique and at home in an environment of cocooning and elegance.
