The appartment is a complete one room studio with separate bathroom. It is located beside the road to Dax, 11 kms, and 1 km to the village of Hinx. The studio has its own 40 sqm garden area with table and chairs for outside lunch. Smoking is allowed in the garden but not in the studio. Garden area is fully fenced for small dogs. Maximum 2 SMALL pets allowed, pet cleaning fee 20 EUROS is to be paid on arrival.
The host are a Frenchy and an Aussie retired couple who also have a soap shop on site. We have 2 cats and some chickens, and have one acre of gardening and herbs; and for this reason we cannot accept medium and large dogs that love the smell and taste of chickens!
There is a bike and walking track 100 m from site. Hinx village has a pharmacy, doctors, nurses, dentists, optometrist, florist, bakery, butcher, mini supermarket, post office, mechanics, restaurants and more. A small market is on saturday morning, next to the arenas. "Courses Landaises" are in July - Dancing with cows/bulls is at Hinx, bull fighting is at Dax in August.
