In 2021 we moved with our three children to the Creuse, to fulfill our dream to create a wonderful place where others can also enjoy the beautiful nature, the peace and quiet. And where we can receive guests hospitably, cook for them and make them feel at home.

Property information

We're pleased that you've found us! Feel completely at home; far away from the hectic and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Château du Tirondet, a wonderful place to completely unwind and recharge your batteries. Our domaine is situated in the Creuse, the 'France profonde'.  A quiet region where it is nice to relax in the middle of nature. After your hike or bike ride, relax at the domaine by the heated swimming pool or on the terrace where you can join for a meal several days a week. The closest village, Sannat, has a local shop for some small groceries, at less than 15 kilometres there are larger villages with supermarkets, shops, restaurants and markets. You are most welcome, we look forward having you!

Neighbourhood information

The domaine of Château du Tirondet is an estate of over 27ha with a spacious garden, surrounded by meadows where the Charolais cows walk. From the garden, you walk straight into the 13ha private forest with various strolling paths. For a somewhat longer hike you just walk straight into the French farmland of the Creuse, which is characterised by the many hedges and small lakes that you encounter between the châteaux, country estates and small villages. Walk in peace and enjoy the silence.
