The Pierres d’Histoire venture started in 2013 with the simultaneous restoration work of Le Hameau in Le Parc de Courances, Le Moulin de Pézenas in the south of France, and of the Domaine de Ravenoville in Normandy. Today, sixteen houses have been saved, renovated and opened to guests. More than a cottage, a Pierres d’Histoire house is a place of wonder, a place to share with those who we love, a place to give time to oneself and to recapture simple moments of happiness. Our houses all have a history, are witnesses to past lives of splendor and hard labor, to deep secrets. They are places where time stands still, where elegance and tranquility are offered.

In the heart of the Luberon and 50 kilometers from Avignon, the village of Ménerbes is set on the rocky overhangs overlooking the Calavon planes. At the top of this beautiful “village d’artiste”, is an elegant 18th century edifice known as Hôtel de Tingry. This exceptional setting is perfect for a quiet getaway. Guests can but be charmed by the architecture of the site and its spectacular sceneries. Between Gordes and Bonnieux, this Bed & Breakfast situated on the highest point of Ménebres, is the perfect place of departure to discover the surrounding region.
