Caroline (NL) is ex-hotelier and ex-KLM and has worked years in the San Francisco area before moving back to Europe with Charles (USA). Charles has an extensive education in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medecine) and has a practice here. They live on property with their 3 sweet dogs to personally welcome you.

Property information

The farmhouse was built around 1500 and served the abbey of the village Berdoues, now renovated with modern creature comforts serving as a safe haven where quiet and calm is prevalent. We love going to Brocantes and Vide Greniers and have decorated the rooms with many loved unique objects we have purchased over the years. The combination of hospitality and well being is unique as Charles has a TCM practice at the B&B. Book a treatment during your stay and recharged your batteries during your stay at Domaine à Marmande.

Neighbourhood information

This location is surrounded by nature(3.5 ha/8 ac of organic farmland), and is tucked away in the country side, yet grocery stores, restaurants are nearby. For people who love activities such as long hikes in the surrounding hills, or biking, you can walk or bike right off our drive way into the hills or nearby forest. Closely located to the vineyards, to the Armagnac area, and Gascony wine region (Madiran, Pacherenc) and culinary surprises such as Basque/Gascony cuisine or fish à la plancha within a short drive....Summers are filled with festivals such as the famous Jazz in Marciac(20km from Marciac), Tempo Latino (35 km Vic Fezensac). An hour's drive from the Pyrenees mountains, Lourdes, Auch, Toulouse(Airport).
