Charming cottage in Port d'Envaux, perfect for a couple. Very comfortable, living room with fireplace, fitted kitchen, dining room, spacious bedroom upstairs with bathroom. Small inner courtyard. All modern conveniences for an unforgettable stay. 5 minutes from the Charente, close to shops. Easy parking. Friendly welcome, in a calm and bucolic environment. Free WIFI, upmarket interior layout of character for an unforgettable stay. The incomparable charm of a house completely renovated in 2019 will make the Gîte du Presbytère much appreciated. We wanted to make it a both cozy and upscale place of well-being. We imagined and decorated it as though we live there. The cottage is very comfortable and has quality equipment. The equipped kitchen includes a washing machine, dryer, a traditional oven and microwave, refrigerator, ceramic hob and all the needed crockery to invite guests inside and outside. The cottage has a private entrance, a terrace, a living room with fireplace, a large bedroom and a very nice bathroom. This is a village house, with incomparable charm located across the presbytery garden. Even if particularly quiet, you are however only 5 minutes from the city center,
Anne, former interior designer, is a famous plastic ceramist and has given this place its aesthetic character. You will appreciate the works of art that decorate the cottage. Stéph, former advertiser and marketing is an artist's agent. He also values design of high quality. Do not hesitate to ask for more information, we will be happy to ensure we will make your stay an unforgettable moment.
Close to the restaurants, the town hall, the post office and especially close to the nautical base located on the Charente and its small beach deliciously bucolic. A bath in the Charente is a must (of course it depends on the time of the year and how brave you are !) A supermarket, tobacco and newspaper shop, drugstore and other shops are available in Taillebourg, about 5 mn drive. Port d'Envaux is surrounded by remarkable sites, castles, Lapidialles (must see) and several hiking and cycling trails. Other things to note Parking in front of the gîte, in rue du Presbytère or at the church car park , 30 meters away. Minimum stay 3 nights, medium and long term are accepted. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
