In the former stables of a middle-class house, a haven of peace. Located in the city center, with the calm of the countryside. The price for one person is WITHOUT ACCESS to the first floor (therefore without access to the second bedroom and bathroom on the second floor). The garden, shared with the owners, is accessible from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The terrace of the gite is however accessible at any time. Before you enter the premises, we will ask you to sign the rental contract which we will send to you as soon as we have received your reservation. No air conditioning - the bedroom on the ground floor is very cool but the upstairs bedroom is under the roof. Fan available if needed upstairs. If you book for one person only, you get a discount, but access will be limited to the ground floor and to one bedroom.
Béatrice grew up in Sancoins and knows the region like the back of her hand! Simon comes from the Lake District in the north of England and has embraced the calm and rural charm of the Berry region.
The gite is located in the town center of Sancoins, close to all shops. Restaurants 5 min walk (they close early - we advise you to book if you want to go out for dinner). Supermarkets close at 8:00 p.m. at the latest on weekdays. Local swimming pool 10 min walk. Many tourist sites to visit nearby (village and garden of Apremont-sur-Allier, Sagonne castle, Street art city in Lurcy-Lévis, Ainay le Vieil, Noirlac abbey, Bourges and Moulins 45 min by car, etc.). Canoe rental is available 10 km away and we will have plenty of other ideas to offer!
