Our 4 star Gite is set in a wonderful setting above the Vezere Valley with views of Chateau Marzac. The Gite has 2 en-suite bedrooms, both air conditioned. Room 1 includes space for an infant / travel cot. Room 2 is a triple, but can be setup with Super King Doubles and a single bed. Our B&B Room 3 might be available for another 3 beds, contact us. 2023: There may be restrictions imposed by the Government or Local Authorities about the use of water for swimming pool maintenance. The pool may need to be closed if water use is restricted. This is beyond our control and cannot be compensated for.
Domaine de Fleurie is a Chambres d'hotes outside July and August. Please see our other listings to judge what guests think about our property. We live in a great setting, perfect to relax or to visit the Perigord Noir.
Local places include Abri de la Madeleine, an archaeological site from 17,000 years ago on the banks of Vezere River. La Maison Forte de Reignac is a fortified house built into cliffs. Prehisto Parc is an educational trail explaining our origins from Neanderthal to Cro-Magnon. Chateau Marzac has opened as a new attraction. La Roque Saint Christophe is 10 minutes away; a troglodyte town set in a cliff. The Lascaux IV Centre is 20 minutes away in Montignac and the National Prehistoric Museum is 10 minutes away in Les Eyzies. Locally there 15 prehistoric sites and ornate caves in the Vézère valley which are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Among them, there are nine in the commune of Eyzies de Tayac-Sireuil .
