A quiet village to recharge your batteries surrounded by nature. An ideal location just 7km from Die and its shops and its 2 weekly markets. A very original, authentically restored gite (exposed stones, wooden floor). Comfort equipment, electric heating, wood stove, dishwasher and washing machine. Two spacious well separated bedrooms with storage. An outdoor space in the sun. A storage place for your bikes. Car park nearby. Selective sorting and compost. Built around its castle and overlooked by its church and its temple, the village offers a beautiful view of the Drôme valley. Our cottage can accommodate up to 6 people, its total area is approximately 85m² on 2 levels. It is not wheelchair accessible. We accept "well behaved" dogs free of charge. Sheets and towels are provided. In winter, the house is warm for your arrival. Selective sorting, bucket for compost, bag for glasses, boxes, hollow bodies. The containers are before the village near the green bridge. Provision of baby equipment on request, cot, high chair, bath.
We, Pascal and Virginie, arrived at Ponet in 1996. And it is here that we have built our lives. After having restored our personal house also located in the heart of the village, we have converted this old building which served as an outbuilding for a farmer. It is said that there was a pig and a horse. But also a silkworm smoker, a wine cellar and an onion dryer. We needed a little imagination to install all the necessary comforts for tourist accommodation. Its particular layout on 2 levels makes it an authentic and original gîte today. We are attached to this village where life is good and where friendliness and hospitality are provided by tolerant and respectful inhabitants.
The semi-circular village established around its feudal motte on the sunny side of the mountain. is at the end of the road which makes it very quiet. Many departures for hiking or mountain biking are possible. In the village, discover the small church with its adjoining cemetery from where you can discover a beautiful overview. Below, its temple dating from the 12th century. Then at the edge of the road, an old basin to ret the hemp.
