In the very heart of the Montagne Noire and Occitany region, come and enjoy nature, forest, calm, biodiversity hiking and discoveries. From the cottage, walks or mountain biking through the mountain: in the wild Valley of the Sant Creek, at the ruins of the castle of Contrast, at the chapel of the Capelette, at the lakes around... During your stay here, the owners offer to share their passions: astronomy, geology, botanic, photography, animal care (rabbits, cats and dogs). Rich historical sites around, three of them included in the World Heritage List: the Historical Fortified City of Carcassonne, the Episcopal City of Albi and the Canal du Midi... Google “Rocailler blogspot” to know more with many posts available in English. The housse and the garden are fully equiped for children needs including bykes.
With a scientific background, and after an active life in France and then abroad, we returned to France and run the cottage where we met each other, continuing our family dream: show you our farm situated in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park, forest in Natura 2000 area and our beautiful region as well.
Our previous guests gave very positive feedback on the cottage and the region. They are available on Google and our blog, have a look, we are new to Booking.
