Tanagra guesthouse Welcome to our comfortable cottage situated in a quiet and preserved environment in the midst of the Cathare Pyrenean Piedmont. With roof windows in each bedroom, you will sleep in the stars! The cottage is fully equipped with private access to a large swimming pool, barbecue and terrace with panoramic view over Pyrenean forests, grasslands and sunset. Access to a Scandinavian hot tub is optional on request.
Several hiking trails accessible directly from the guesthouse (delicious mushrooms may be found in the woods nearby from July to November!), Cliffs equipped for climbing (expert-level E4-E8), ruins of a middle age castle and the famous waterfalls of Roquefort all accessible by walking distance (<3km). Unmissable sights in the surroundings: castle of Foix and Montségur, medieval cities of Mirepoix and Carcassonne, caves (Niaux and Lombrives), many prehistoric sites and thermal activities. Bathing areas: Lac de Montbel, Mondély ... Without forgetting the famous waterfalls of Roquefort-les-cascades, worthy of a setting from Lord the Rings! Garrigue is located near Roquefort les Cascades, on the departmental road of L'Herm, connecting Foix to Lavelanet.
