This is a family home with adjoining comfortable private 1 bedroom apartment ,spacious living area compact well equipped kitchen where you can cook your evening meal if you choose not to eat in one of the local restaurants , The perfect place to spend your holidays Situated within the village ramparts and close to all amenities .Under an hour to the spectacular Pyrenees mountains to go walking or skiing in the winter and also under an hour to the sea for swimming and surfing. If canoeing is your thing then the stunning Gave river in Navarrenx is perfect for you . An ideal welcoming place to spend your holiday with great cycle routes to test your stamina ! and for walkers on the Caminoa perfect place to rest before continuing on your way …..Navarrenx -Geneva Way to St Jean Pied de Port. Local swimming outdoor swimming pool is just around the corner and welcome all , Tuesday night is music night throughout July and August where you can buy the local Shakespeare beer and other refreshments plus many local places to visit ……What are you waiting for .. too good to be missed !
We recently moved here ourselves and look forward to meeting our holiday guests so you can see for yourselves our beautiful village and get to know the surrounding area .I’ve recently just walked the first three stages of the Camino starting from St Jean Pied de Port to Pamplona and can’t wait to hike the next few stages . Such a beautiful place to visit where the people are so warm and friendly.
Navarrenx is a beautiful village full of historic interest ,with an outdoor theatre ,and lively market to visit on Wednesday and Sunday morning in the summer months. Our house is situated just in front of the 16th century powder house . The church that was built in 1550 is well worth a visit .
