Ideally located for exploring Lyon on foot, you stay in the heart of the emblematic district of Croix-Rousse in the mythical Montée de la Grande Côte. You thus reach the city center, the Opera, and the Museum of Fine Arts in 5 min. old Lyon in 10 min. Place Bellecour and the Basilica of Fourvière are 2km away. A stone's throw from the apartment, you will stroll through the traboules of the slopes of the Croix Rousse, stroll in the garden of plants or take a look at the Amphitheater of the Three Gauls. The apartment is served by the Croix Paquet and Hôtel de Ville metro stations, a 5-minute walk away. Overlooking an interior courtyard, you will appreciate the warmth of the wood present in the 30m² of an apartment with refined decoration. You will recharge your batteries in a quiet and not overlooked environment. After a night in an ultra comfortable King Size bed, enjoy a complimentary Nespresso coffee or tea. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast at the time of your choice (at an additional cost) before fully enjoying Lyon on foot thanks to an ideal location. The kitchen is fully equipped. Passionate about travel, I wanted to create a cozy apartment in which you feel good after long days of visiting. I chose the Croix Rousse district for its beauty and its proximity to everything - restaurants, bars, shopping, café-theater, cultural visits. I live in this area myself and I am not ready to move :-) I wish you a lot of fun staying at the Cour des Bois.
The low-sloping district of Croix Rousse / Hotel de Ville / Place des Terreaux / Opera is a very pleasant area to live in. Very lively, you will find a multitude of restaurants including the famous Lyonnais bouchons, as well as many bars, wine cellars and tea rooms. Enjoy an evening to entertain yourself in one of the neighborhood theater cafes. The rue de la République just a stone's throw away takes you to Place Bellecour while doing your shopping in the many stores. You reach Vieux Lyon in less than 10 minutes via the magnificent footbridges of the Saône quays. Shop for fresh and tasty produce in the magnificent Croix Rousse or Saint Antoine markets. Shop on Sundays in the second-hand booksellers market and in the creation market.
