You will stay in a former barn which has been entirely renovated to combine modern comfort with the charm of tradition. In the Summer you will be able to enjoy a barbecue on the downstairs terrace or relax on the upstairs terrace. Our gite is located in a large enclosed garden with parking facilities to be shared with the owners. A small river, La Semoigne, runs behind the property. In the village, you will find a baker, a grocer, a restaurant with a fishing lake and a bar.
Born in Verneuil, Annie left France in 1989 to study in Great Britain. In 2008, she decided to leave London to come back to France and renovate the family farmhouse with the help of her partner.
The gite de La Grand Cour is located in Verneuil in the heart of the Champagne region. The region, is famous for its vineyards, its cellars and its renowned bubbly drink. It has numerous assets such as museums and remembrance sites. Nature lovers will enjoy walking or cycling in our countryside. Other sports activities such as golf or fishing are also available.
