Property information

La Grange Fleurie is nestled in the village of Tramayes. On the route de Compostela we see many dedicated pilgrims passing our front door. The house dates back to the 1830's and later changed from Barn to Flower Barn where Grahame and Christine ran their dried flower business. Its peaceful and the view over the valley is stunningly beautiful. Our spacious BNB is the perfect place to relax. Within easy reach of Lyon and Macon, La Grange Fleurie is the perfect place to stop over.

Neighbourhood information

Cluny with the Abbey of Cluny which is 16km away from property. Eglise Notre-Damen It is a beautiful church located in a small square with a fountain. We must look up to admire the Gothic details and explanations at the entrance helps us understand the location. Tour des Fromages The Tower, once part of the wall surrounding the abbey, used to be called “tour des feves”, will allow you to keep unforgettable memories of your visit to Cluny. From the top of the tower, you can discover an extraordinary panorama on the abbey-city and also a photography exhibition presenting the arievements of Friends de Cluny heritage association. Warning, for people with reduced mobility, the Tour des Fromages has 120 steps ... Entrance by the tourist office. Consult the opening hours of the tourist office which can vary according to the season. The longest cycling tunnel is found between Cluny and Macon, or for those enthusiasts who love to ride, there is a dedicated bike route from Cluny to Macon.
