The self contained studio gite, is perfect for romantic getaways , nestled amongst vines and prune trees, come and enjoy peace and tranquility and spend time relaxing by the pool which is 10 steps from the gite door !fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a beautiful shower room . An outside covered area with a BBQ and seating for alfresco dining. The gite is surrounded by a fenced garden which makes it ideal for pets. ( pets are not allowed by the pool, or in the main garden ) We welcome well behaved pets, however, pets must not be left at the property unattended.
We moved to France 5 years ago to enjoy a more relaxed way of life, we are fully embracing everything SW France has to offer including the local wine! We live on site in the main house, and able to help you if you have any problems .
Peaceful, but only 10 mins from Duras and 20 mins from the popular Bastide town of Eymet, both towns have restaurants and bars, St Foy on the Dordogne is 20 mins away. Local markets take place most days and are a definite must! St Sernin has a bar and shop which is 2km from La Porcherie. We have vineyards literally on our doorstep, and we can arrange tours if you want to find out how the amazing wines are made .
