Le Balcon de Roxane is an appealing old-style house through across a large wonderful garden with a swimming-pool, near the Mont Ventoux and few minutes walking to Malaucène. The house is welcoming you in the heart of Provence with an amazing view on the village and the mountain. It includes 5 customized bedrooms and can accommodate 10 people. You may enjoy all equipments in the house and the garden with access to the swimming pool.
My name is Brigitte and I'm passionate of theater, that's why I called the house the "Roxane Balcony" in reference to the great play Cyrano de Bergerac. I also like arts, culture and architecture which inspired me to build this house. I do hope you'll enjoy your stay and feel welcome in this old-style house relaxing and breathing the fresh air of Provence.
The Mont Ventoux (or the Provence giant) famous for its Tour de France, is a skiing area in the depths of winter. During the summer let’s discovering hiking trails, practicing mountain bikes, cycling or paragliding. If you are a coming with your family, you can try leisures like horse riding, karting, adventure park in the woods or climbing. You have choice to visit traditional markets: Vaison-la-Romaine on thuesday, Malaucène on wednesday, Nyons on thursday and Carpentras on friday. We recommended you the junk shop un l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue every week-ends. Each July, you should visiting the “theater city” durinf the famous Festival d’Avignon, but the Danse Festival too in Vaison-la-Romaine or Les Chorégies in Orange (Opera festival). Wine lovers, please take the wine route (Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas, Rasteau, Vacqueyras, Séguret, Châteauneuf-du-pape…) To visit : Le Barroux, Beaumes- de- Venise, Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange, Grignan, Avignon, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Uzès, Montbrun-les-bains.
