The fine print
This former 16th century watermill has been completely renovated while retaining its character.
The mill is divided into 2 wings, connected by a kitchen. I live year-round in one of them; the other is for you.
This includes: - bedroom with a large bed (180x200cm) or 2 single beds (bed linen provided) - Italian shower area with sink (towels provided) - living room (the old machinery) with a sofa bed , WC.
The kitchen (fully equipped) and the library lounge with its wood stove are two spaces shared between you and me. Just like the immense and multiple green spaces, located under a refreshing canopy, as well as the river which flows 30 meters from the mill.
I also live with a hiking cat, (he follows me on my mountain trips) who likes to bask by the fire. But in no way has access to your private spaces.
The outdoor spaces of the mill are entirely open to the surrounding nature. The surrounding scrubland offers beautiful walks. On the way back, all that remains is to soak your feet in the waterfall and savor the fruits of the apple, fig and other plum trees.
This unusual place is located at the foot of the Cévennes National Park. Adventurers will set off on hikes to discover sublime panoramas. Heritage enthusiasts will benefit from the proximity of the four most beautiful villages in France located in the Gard (Montclus, Lussan, Aigueze and La Roque sur Cèze).
The mill is also located at the crossroads of the Ardèche and its famous Gorges, ideal for canoeing, and the Rhone Gard (Uzes, Pont du Gard and Avignon).
Finally, heading south, visitors will enjoy trips to Nîmes, Montpellier or the Mediterranean.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
