Ten generations after the arrival of Hyppolyte Dumas within these walls, the history of the estate took on a new lease of life in the 21st century with the arrival of the Porcel family, current owners of Moulin Dumas. In 2022, Philippe and Isabelle Porcel opened the doors to a future firmly rooted in their desire to link the 4-hectare estate with its history, by giving it a new emotional lease of life around the building and its outbuildings, which have been renovated as Provencal dwellings. As a vigilant ‘guardian’ of the past and shaper of the future, Philippe Porcel, in his recently published book ‘Les rêves de mon moulin’, has revealed some of the mysteries of the estate with emotion, kindness, respect and gratitude.

Staying at the Moulin Dumas means enjoying 4 hectares of parkland in the heart of nature, just 5 minutes from the centre of Grignan. Le Moulin Dumas, with its five charming and distinctive guest rooms - Spelt, Rye, Amaranth, Flax and Chestnut - welcomes guests from May 1st to September 30th. These spaces, located on the first floor of the Moulin, are designed to offer an unforgettable experience. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a setting that is both authentic and refined, where the generous nature of the site blends with an atmosphere that is both bucolic and romantic. In fine weather, breakfasts are served by the pool and, in cooler weather, in the millers' room. A reading room overlooking the pool is also available. The Moulin Dumas does not offer table d'hôtes. Drinks and sorbets are available.
