In August 2018, a conversation that began with "What if..." became reality with our arrival at Le Petit Cochon. We'd been married for ten years and realised that we were not spending enough time together. Not nearly enough. We also talked more and more often about our shared dream of opening a bed and breakfast together in France. A place that would bring together all the things we enjoy when we go on holiday. Relaxed comfort. Quality without stuffiness. Great service. Charm and character and good food. Somewhere to relax, unwind, recharge. Somewhere to go slow. We're sure we've found all of that and more here in the Gers and look forward to welcoming you to our home at Le Petit Cochon.

Le Petit Cochon is located in the beautiful Gers region of France, an area renown for the warmth of its welcome, the slow pace of life and the high quality of the food. This grand old house has been renovated throughout and offers four stylish bedrooms, each of which is ensuite. Every bedroom has its own distinctive character and is finished with beautiful, quality linens coupled with complimentary toiletries. The garden is English in its inspiration, full of colour and a peaceful space in which to relax with a good book in the shade of the cherry tree. The Gers boasts plenty of sunshine through the summer so plenty of opportunity to enjoy this lovely space.

Le Petit Cochon is a lovely 19th century merchant's house conveniently located close to the main square of Valence sur Baïse and just ten minutes from the bustling market town of Condom. Le Petit Cochon is located within a short walk of the Abbaye de Flaran - a stunning Cistercian Abbey which houses a renowned collection of Modern Art. In summer, the town boasts five restaurants / bars within walking distance and offers the perfect base to explore the many delightful villages close by. Traditional chateaux are a real attraction selling wine, floc and armagnac direct to the public, as are the many local markets, busy with locals stocking up on a wide variety of local produce. The impressive and interesting towns of Auch and Agen are both approximately 40 mins away for those looking for a change of scene.
