Le Petit Donjon is a unique and stylish place to stay within the grounds of the beautiful medieval Chateau Mareuil. Created with love and attention to detail, this bijou residence is adjacent to the impressive 12m x 6m swimming pool with it's own private terrace. A cosy woodburner makes le Petit Donjon a cosy place to stay at any time of year. The bespoke, custom-designed stained glass interior window - "Freeflow", adds colour, texture and light to this "one of a kind" space.
Lee and I are totally in love with France! We bought our first property here in 2007, a charming Normandy cottage. In 2015, we fulfilled our ambition to own a chateau - we bought Chateau Mareuil, a pretty medieval chateau right in the middle of France. We are very proud that Chateau Mareuil is featured on Channel 4's ever popular series - Chateau - DIY"! We now live here in France; our beautiful chateau, the newly re-furbished Petit Donjon and our Petit Prince Studio are all available for your next holiday.
Set in rural tranquility, Chateau Mareuil is conveniently situated right in the middle of La Belle France! Our nearest towns, Montmorillon and Le Dorat, have weekly markets, restaurants and bars.
