The house: An authentic village house which is built into the base of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The house is located within the old wall near an historic archway. The balcony overlooks a small square with a fountain and has an amazing view of Mt Ventoux and the surrounding vineyards. The house consists of 3 levels. The kitchen and dining are on the ground floor. The first floor has the main bedroom (queen sized bed and a walk in wardrobe), the bathroom, separate toilet and laundry. The top floor has the second bedroom (queen size bed and single bed), the living room (with sofa bed) and the balcony off the living room. There is free street parking 10-15 metres from the house. Beaumes de Venise: Is a working village with all amenities: restaurants, a bar, several bakeries, a butcher, a newsagent, a supermarket, a post office, a bank, doctors and a pharmacy, a public swimming pool (open in summer) cellar doors and other businesses. It is well known for both its muscat and red wine (Beaumes de Venise AOC). It is a fantastic base for walking, cycling and exploring neigbouring villages.
