Fully renovated detached house in lovely village in hilly Auxois countryside. Ground floor: light & airy sitting room (wood-burning stove - stays alight day & night), dining room with open-plan fitted kitchen, bedroom (160x200cm bed), shower room (walk-in shower), separate WC. 1st floor: large bedroom (double bed) with en-suite bathroom/WC, bedroom (2 single beds OR king-size bed), mezzanine. Wooden cot, high chair. Courtyard at front of gîte, large garden (750 sq.m.). Nicely renovated accommodation with exposed stone walls and beams. Heating: wood-burning stove, electric towel drying radiators in bath/shower rooms. Owner is working farmer. Nearby: Nid à la Caille lake (lifeguards, children's games), Pont lake (beach). Cycle track alongside Canal de Bourgogne. Lots of places to visit: Alésia MuséoParc, Fontenay abbey, medieval villages of Semur-en-Auxois and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain (famous for its aniseed sweets), château of Bussy-Rabutin, Epoisses.
