Our two gîtes are located at either end of our Farmhouse they have their own entrances, patios, gardens and parking. We are happy to offer pet friendly accommodation with no extra charges Le Crécerelle gîte was an old stable dating from 1857 and L' Hirondelle an old stable / workshop dating from 1878. Both gîtes have been completely refurbished and updated but retain their cottage charm while providing modern facilities. The ground floors are open plan consisting of a well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher etc., adjoining the comfortable lounge / diner. The double bedroom and bathroom (shower, wc and washbasin) are on the first floor.

Our family….We have a cat named 'Frank the Cat', two border collies, Katie, Kaspar they are friendly, well behaved and social.

There is plenty to see and do in the area as Treverien is conveniently located a 5 minutes-drive from the main N137 which links St Malo on the coast with the city of Rennes to the south. The Ille-et-Rance canal runs through the village, offering walks and cycling along the tow paths. (mountain bikes are provided) There are also some wonderful opportunities for cycling and walking below the hilltop village of Hédé , you'll see there are 11 locks, each of which are only about 200m apart this ‘staircase’ of water takes boats through an 88 feet (27m) change in level. Within a 30 minute drive are Dinan, Combourg. A 40/45 minute drive we take you to Dol de Bretagne, Mont St Michael., St Malo, Cancale or Rennes. Evran 4km from here has restaurants, bars and shops. It is situated on the canal. There is a port with picnic area next to the lock. Adjoining the town is the Leisure centre of Betineuc with lakes, leisure areas, bathing beach, sailing, canoeing and walks. The nearby Chateau de la Bourbansais & Park Zoological are a lovely idea for a family outing. Becherel, Is famous for its book shops. It has a book market held on the first Sunday of every month.
