Property information
The peninsula of Ambialet just at your feet!
If you have not yet heard of one of the largest meanders in France that forms a peninsula, look no further, it is just at your feet. Here lies the narrowest isthmus in Europe, with only ten metres separating the two banks of the Tarn. To better understand all this, visit the EDF hydroelectric power plant in Ambialet from July to September. Alternatively, take a little height on the way to the church of La Capelle and enjoy a panoramic view of Ambialet.
For lovers of green tourism, head to Trébas-les-Bains and its leisure base with many activities. Continue your visit of the surroundings of Ambialet by taking the height and start on the steep roads of the Monts de l'Albigeois. Hop on your bikes (rental possible with the tourist office) and go to the forest of Sérénac just a few kilometers from your holiday home.
This family house was bought in the 80s and renovated in 2014. The Gîte des Reflets du Tarn is not named for nothing. The terrace offers a view of the Tarn river and the peninsula of Ambialet. All you have to do is sit back and watch the kayakers go by.
