A Champagne lovers haven, perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or a comfortable home for up to 8 guests (adults only!). Please note! The house is not child or pet friendly, therefore for safety reasons we do not accept children or pets under any circumstances. Located a short walk (10 mins) from Épernay town centre with many excellent restaurants, cafes and bars (we’re happy to recommend for you), and 15 mins walk to the Champagne houses (Moët et Chandon, Pol Roger, Perrier-Jouet and many more) on Avenue de Champagne. Our Townhouse has plenty of free parking right in front. Comprising 3 floors, the 1st floor includes all common areas (kitchen, dining room, sitting room, shower room, W.C.) and a bedroom with a Kingsize bed. On the 2nd floor is a bathroom and 3 further bedrooms each with Superking beds. There is a quiet, sunny courtyard to the rear, perfect for dining al fresco and relaxing with a glass of Champagne with friends or a good book. We run several yoga and art retreats during the warmer months in the ground floor studio (with underfloor heating as needed). You are welcome to use it during your stay. Namasté.

I am an Irish Artist and Yoga Teacher living in the South of England with my family. Having lived in various parts of France over many years I have never found another place like Épernay, the heart of Champagne. I speak English and French fluently and I am happy to provide you with recommendations for restaurants, Champagne houses, places to visit in the area etc. during your stay.

Just 10 minutes stroll from the centre of town and the Champagne Houses. There is a small supermarket (7 days/week) 10 mins walk and a large Hypermarket (Mon to Sat) 3 mins drive away. The closest Boulangerie is 3 mins walk and Epernay’s charming, traditional indoor market (Wed and Sat) is 8 mins walk and well worth a visit as it’s a feast for all the senses. If you want to get some wonderful views of the vines and Epernay, there is a tethered balloon in the centre of the town. 200m from the house is a large leisure complex with 3 swimming pools, well equipped gym and spa. Daily and weekly passes are available. The local train station is 6 min taxi ride (20 min walk) away. From here you can visit the nearby renowned city of Reims (30 mins) and its beautiful cathedral. Paris (and Charles de Gaulle airport) is just 1hr 30mins away by car or by train, where you can visit the wonderful Eiffel Tower, Louvre museum, Montmartre, Champs-Elysees etc. You can also hike or hire a bicycle and follow the Marne Valley, “Route Touristique de Champagne”, where you can see the fantastic panoramic views of the Champagne vineyards from the hills surrounding Épernay.
