Au cœur de l’Occitanie, la petite ville d’ALET LES BAINS a de quoi séduire les visiteurs avec sa magnifique architecture ancienne civile et militaire et son exceptionnel patrimoine religieux. Cette richesse est l’héritage du glorieux passé de la ville. Capitale spirituelle dès le IXème siècle jusqu’au XVIIIe siècle, la cité connaît alors son âge d’or : de nombreux hôtels particuliers sont aménagés aux côtés d’autres bâtiments médiévaux. On peut aujourd’hui en visiter quelques-uns comme le Palais Episcopal qui abrite de très belles salles historiques, ainsi qu’un parc privé aux arbres centenaires.
