The house is situated in a park-like garden on the verge of the village of La Mourre, which belongs to the municipality of La Garde-Freinet. This little town can be reached by car in 10 minutes. There you will find restaurants, cafés and shops – and on Wednesdays and Sundays there is a market with fresh vegetables, fruits and cheese. From our holiday home you can walk around the mountain: In 45 minutes you get a good impression of the area and you can look down to the sea. By car the port of Sainte Maxime is just 30 minutes away, as is the large sandy beach of Lanartelle.
Hi! My name is Milan. I'm a videographer living and working in Basel, Switzerland. We love to welcome people in La Mourre - one of the nicest places I know. I myself have been spending my holidays in our holiday home practically from birth on. I enjoy to cultivate the trees and the garden around the house und renovate the house. To stoke up the fireplace after a long day gives me great joy.
In the mornings and evenings La Mourre is very quiet, you can hear the wind in the trees, sometimes some dogs barking and the crickets chirping. In La Mourre you are away from the big tourist streams. But with the car you will soon be among people again. In the village you can play boules, there is a small village square with a fountain and a church. Hiking trails lead in all directions, often cyclists pass by.
