Welcome to Maison Principale , thé house is situated on the edge of a stunning village of Poudenas . Recently renovated The House has a large open plan lounge and kitchen , with a large Log burner for your use. 2 double bedrooms ( one can be double or twin)and a mezzanine which can sleep 2 ( has low ceiling ) . A large shower room and a utility with washing machine for your use. Outside to the rear is a garden with a small pool (3m x2m) a lovely seating area and BBQ . To the front is a lovely Terrace with a seating area The village itself has a great Pizza bar and also a shop selling all your basics and is home to Chateau de Poudenas (5 min walk if attending weddings) The nearest villages are Mezin which has shops, chemist and bank . A weekly Sunday morning market and Summer night market every Monday . SOS which is famous for its Wednesday night night Market in July and August. There’s also Nerac which is a market Town ( large busy market every Saturday morning) and night markets on Tuesday evenings in summer . You are spoilt for walks / cycling around poudenas which backs on to a large forest .
Moved here in 2003 and absolutely love the area , there’s so much to see and do .
They are loads of local markets , nights markets , open air swimming pools in summer. Endless cycle and walking routes . Quaint villages including Poudenas , amazing restaurants
